Creating a unique and supportive setting for kids to just be themselves, The Mindbright Academy is a series of interactive community experiences for youth who often lack such an opportunity. Through the collective effort of several caring Speech Pathology and Mental Health professionals in Northwest Montana, the academy is a summer program for atypical learners of varying ages. At its core, it looks like a camp near Glacier National Park. After a closer look, it is a chance for youth to be in a supportive environment designed for those who have an exceptional way of seeing the world. The founders knew I had a history of supporting such populations and thought I would be the right fit for such a project. After working as a team to define goals and objectives for the shoots I was able to help tell their own very unique story.
