It all started with a call one evening in June from the Montana Longhorn Company. They explained their photographer wasn’t able to make a branding planned for the next day and they needed some help. Several months prior I had the occasion to talk to Jeremy one of the owners of MLC. He jokingly said that at some point he get me out to do some cowboying. Well, it seemed like a pretty good opportunity to jump in. The branding was open to the public and was intended as a way to spread awareness and community access to the ranching lifestyle. At the core of this commitment to heritage is their goal to help provide quality local meat and food security. After delivering the gallery to them another offer was extended to shoot again and a relationship was born.
